VIKING LEANINGS

Visitors to the village of Tealby, in Lincolnshire, will be pleased to hear that a local delicacy, Leaning’s traditional Lincolnshire sausages, can now be enjoyed anywhere in the UK via a new web site: www.vikingsausages.co.uk. Customers can order on-line for delivery the next day.
Butcher Ian Cocking decided to follow this route when he found many orders were for all parts of the UK. He commented, “Tealby sausages are one of the most popular choices on both of the Tealby pub menus and a staple of the Tealby Summer Fete. As demand has grown I thought of a web-site.”
As Leaning’s shop is situated right next to Viking Way, an ancient footpath, the name was an obvious choice. The shop itself is one of the oldest butchers in the county dating back to the 1860s when the secret sausage recipe was first developed. The sausages are made daily on the premises using local produce and contain no artificial ingredients, they are also 100% free from additives.
