Established in the 1860's, no butcher's shop could be more traditional than Leaning's of Tealby. The entire workforce (of one) takes personal and particular care over everything that leaves the shop...that's the best way to guarantee that the quality is right. The shop is situated on the Viking Way in the picturesque village of Tealby, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Once it was common for country people around here to keep pigs at the bottom of the garden and feed them on the scraps from the kitchen. Many houses still have signs of the old pigsty to this day, but thankfully not the smell! The animals provided a whole range of products from salted Hams and Bacon to Brawns, Haslets, Pies and of course, Lincolnshire Sausages. Perhaps it was because only the best or most popular recipes survived that over the years Leaning's sausages have built up a considerable reputation. If you'd like to try home made sausages that taste like they used to, made completely by hand from local pork, then order online today.
