The shop is situated on the Viking Way in the picturesque village of Tealby, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Once it was common for country people around here to keep pigs at the bottom of the garden and feed them on the scraps from the kitchen. Many houses still have signs of the old pigsty to this day, but thankfully not the smell!
The animals provided a whole range of products from salted Hams and Bacon to Brawns, Haslets, Pies and of course, Lincolnshire Sausages.
