To ensure that Viking Sausages reach you in optimum condition they are made daily. Orders received before midday will be made and despatched the same day wherever possible. Orders received in the afternoon will be made the following day to ensure total freshness.
The sausages are then bagged and sealed in 8s and carefully packed in special Leaning's cardboard boxes with a special hygienic coolant (a bit like freezer bags) to preserve their just-made freshness.
All orders are sent by Next Day Delivery either by Royal Mail or Interlink Express, depending on the quantity you order, we choose the most cost-effective delivery method and include it in the price for your convenience. A signature may be required on delivery so please try to ensure someone is home, or indicate a secure, thief and animal proof place where your parcel can be left safely until you return home.
Sausages should be refrigerated on arrival and enjoyed within 3 days. They are also suitable for home freezing and the usual guidelines for frozen meat apply.
